What started off personal, developed into a passion to improve neurological health and slow cognitive decline through sleep science.

Karen Crow,
one of the co-founders of NeuroGeneces, encountered personal challenges as her mother battled Alzheimer's and her son struggled with a sleep disorder. During her research into these conditions, she discovered that sleep serves as a gateway to the brain, providing valuable insights into neurophysiology and creating opportunities to measure and enhance brain function.

Prioritizing brain health begins with assessing brain function and monitoring changes annually to provide early interventions when they are most effective in changing the trajectory of neurodegeneration.

Now Karen’s personal mission is to develop technology to monitor brain function and enhance long-lasting neurological health.

She connected with cofounder Jason Worchel, M.D., a neuropsychiatrist and recognized expert in neurostimulation. Together they launched NeuroGeneces to develop safe, natural, and proven ways to measure and improve brain health.

The NeuroGeneces Team

Karen Crow
Cofounder & CEO

A former management consultant and Google executive, Karen’s passion for assessing Brain Health through sleep science stems from personal experience: her mother had Alzheimer’s and her son has a sleep disorder. A two-time patent-owner and Google Founders' Award recipient, she has a successful track record of conceptualizing innovative solutions and turning them into reality.   She co-founded WiserGiving.org, a nonprofit dedicated to donor education. Karen holds a BA with High Honors from Dartmouth College and MS from MIT.

Jason Worchel, M.D.
